# Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all customers engaging MeetClaw's deployment and configuration services. By using our services, you agree to this AUP in addition to our [Terms of Service](/content/terms/index.html).

## Intended Use Cases

MeetClaw's services are designed for compliant, productive uses of OpenClaw. These include:

- **Personal productivity**  
  Automating your own calendar, files, notes, and communication workflows.

- **Internal business automation**  
  Streamlining internal processes, approvals, and knowledge management within your organisation.

- **Developer tooling**  
  Building and testing automations, integrations, and agent pipelines for legitimate software development purposes.

- **Customer support workflows**  
  Routing and drafting support responses, using properly configured WhatsApp Business or other compliant business APIs.

- **Research and analysis**  
  Summarising, classifying, or processing information you are legally authorised to access.

## Prohibited Activities

You must not use MeetClaw's services to configure or operate OpenClaw for any of the following:

- **Illegal activity**  
  Any use that violates applicable laws, regulations, or court orders in your jurisdiction.

- **Bulk unsolicited messaging**  
  Mass, unsolicited, or spam messaging over any platform, including but not limited to WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, or Signal.

- **Violation of platform terms**  
  Any automation that breaches the terms of service of WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Signal, OpenAI, Anthropic, or any other third-party platform.

- **Unauthorised access**  
  Attempting to gain access to systems, accounts, or data you are not authorised to access; scraping websites in violation of their terms.

- **Malware or harmful code**  
  Distributing, deploying, or enabling malware, spyware, ransomware, or any other harmful software.

- **Security bypass**  
  Circumventing authentication, access controls, rate limits, or security mechanisms of any third-party service.

- **Fraud or deception**  
  Phishing, impersonation, synthetic identity fraud, or any activity intended to deceive or defraud others.

- **IP infringement**  
  Reproducing, distributing, or processing content in ways that infringe the intellectual property rights of any party.

## Platform Compliance Requirements

OpenClaw integrates with messaging and productivity platforms that have their own automation and API policies. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable platform terms, including:

- **WhatsApp / WhatsApp Business API** — Meta's business messaging policies prohibit bulk unsolicited messages and require proper business verification
- **Telegram** — Telegram's API terms prohibit spam, abuse, and operating bots that violate their guidelines
- **Slack** — Slack's API terms require apps to be used only in authorised workspaces and prohibit data harvesting
- **Discord** — Discord's developer terms prohibit bots that mass-DM, raid, or violate their community guidelines
- **OpenAI / Anthropic** — Model API usage must comply with the respective usage policies of the AI provider whose API keys you configure

## Enforcement

What happens if you violate this AUP?

- **First instance:** written warning and requirement to remediate within 48 hours
- **Repeated or severe violation:** immediate suspension of services without refund
- **Illegal activity:** immediate termination; we reserve the right to report to relevant authorities
