MeetClaw is an independent professional services company offering deployment, configuration, and hardening services for the open-source OpenClaw software. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to MeetClaw.

Via site contact and enquiry forms:
- Name
- Email address
- Operating system or cloud environment type
- Messaging channels of interest
- Your message or project description
During service delivery:
- Technical environment details necessary for installation (OS version, network topology if required)
- Temporary session-based access credentials (not retained post-session — see Section 6)
Via site analytics and cookies:
- Page views, session durations, and interaction events (via PostHog, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity)
- Approximate geolocation (country/region level, derived from IP)
- Device and browser type
Analytics data is only collected with your consent, managed via our cookie consent banner.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Service delivery — to provide the setup and configuration services you have requested (legal basis: contract)
- Communication — to respond to enquiries and coordinate delivery (legal basis: contract / legitimate interest)
- Improvement — to understand how the site is used and improve our service offering (legal basis: legitimate interest, or consent for analytics cookies)
- Legal compliance — to meet our obligations under applicable law (legal basis: legal obligation)
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Processors
We engage the following third-party processors to help deliver our services:
- PostHog — product analytics (EU-hosted option available)
- Google Analytics — web analytics
- Microsoft Clarity — session recording and heatmaps
- Lovable Cloud (Supabase) — form data storage and backend infrastructure
- Cal.com — booking and scheduling
Each processor is contractually required to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection law.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on meetclaw.ai. Categories include:
- Strictly necessary — session management, security, consent preferences
- Analytics — understand how visitors use the site (PostHog, Google Analytics, Clarity). Only enabled with consent.
You can withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or contacting us. Our cookie consent banner uses Google Consent Mode v2.
6. Credential and Secret Handling
During setup sessions, you may share environment credentials (API keys, SSH keys, tokens) with MeetClaw engineers. These are:
- Used only for the agreed scope of the session
- Not stored in our systems after session completion
- Handled only over encrypted channels (e.g. shared screen, encrypted credential vault, SSH)
We strongly advise you to revoke and rotate any credentials shared with us immediately after session handover.
7. Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Enquiry / contact form data — up to 2 years from last contact, or until you request deletion
- Session credentials — not retained beyond the active session
- Analytics data — as per the retention settings of each third-party processor (typically 13 months for Google Analytics)
8. Your Rights
Under UK/EU GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification of inaccurate data
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") where applicable
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based

9. Data Processing Agreements
For B2B clients operating under GDPR who need a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA), we can provide one on request. We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be announced via site notice. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
